Trump's Economic Trust Hits Record Low

A recent survey has revealed that American voters' trust in Donald Trump's handling of the economy has plummeted to record low levels. According to the YouGov and Yahoo poll conducted from March 20-24, 51% of respondents expressed dissatisfaction with Trump's economic management, while only 39% maintained confidence in him. This figure represents the lowest level of trust in Trump's handling of economic issues since the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The survey indicates that a majority of Americans believe the country is either in or heading towards a recession, with 26% assessing the economy as 'excellent' or 'good', while 70% view it as 'fair' or 'poor'. Experts suggest that although many Trump supporters are willing to give him more time to implement his economic plans, there is a growing acknowledgment that he lacks a miraculous solution to the economic challenges. Although the trust in Trump has declined, it's considered too early to declare his presidency over. Currently, 50% of respondents are dissatisfied with his overall performance as president.
